Suggested Application Dates
Easter - Step #1
Crabgrass Preventer plus Lawn Food
- Apply to lawn BEFORE the ground
temperature reaches 55ºF. It will not kill
crabgrass that is already up! DO NOT
apply to newly planted seed (must have
2 cuttings on NEW grass.) It is best if lawn
is rained on after applied.
Memorial Day - Step #2
Weed and Feed
- Please don’t mow grass before applying!
Apply in the early morning or late evening when there is dew on the ground. No rain for 2-3 days.
4th of July - Step #3
Summer Lawn Food
- Best results will occur if lawn is rained on
after application. If the temperature is over
85ºF, lawn MUST be rained on or watered
within the first 24 hours after application.
Labor Day - Step #4
Winterizer & New Lawn Starter
- Optimum results if lawn is rained on after
application. OK to apply until Thanksgiving.
